My son Gabriel and myself took Tae Kwon Do classes with Mrs. Haynes for seven years.
I can say we were blessed the day when I signed up for Tae Kwon Do classes with Stephnnie Hayness. It changed our lives for better.
Many people has the misconception of discipline, thinking that a teacher needs to be a intimidating loud person. Mrs. Haynes teaches you the real concept of discipline, "The self control of mind and body".
She works for perfection on the technique at the same time she can distinguish differences on the students abilities and make sure you work on your weakness.
My son Gabriel is a freshman at Steele Canyon High and decided to try football this year. This is his first real football killer training. During the month of July he was forced to take an exhausting foot ball summer camp.
I could not drive him to school because of my job schedule. Well, he decided to walk every day one mile to the closest bus stop and another 1.8 mile fro the drop off bus stop to school and walk again to do 4 hours of hard training during the hottest days we had during the summer.
This was not a problem because his mind has been already disciplined to push yourself for something good .
Every time I told him if this was to much he could quit he'll respond "Mom, I'm not a quitter". He learned this form Mrs Haynes.
Gabriel does not have a good football background and still he has been put as a role model in many situations. He just says " I learn that on Tae Kwon do". He is the only one that has not been yelled " bend your knees"
Mrs. Haynes is one of the finest Martial Arts instructors I have ever met> she will not talk about herself on many words. Mrs Haynes talks about herself with her classes and being a great role model for everyone.
I believe taking Tae Kwon Do classes with Stephnnie Haynes has been one of the best experience have happened in our lives, an experience that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.
